Savvy Salon and Day Spa in Charlotte, NC now carries Invati by Aveda.  We were blown away by this product and what it can do for your hair.  The official Aveda web site has this to say about the Invati Exfoliating Shampoo:  It “removes build-up that can clog pores and renews the scalp.”

You may not have even known that the pores on your head can get clogged.  It is pretty common and can be caused by several things but mostly by irritants such as shampoo, conditions and other hair products.  You know those things we use pretty much every day and HAVE to use?  So what to do?  We can’t stop washing or styling our hair.  Now, there is a solution.  Invati by Aveda works on keeping those pores unclogged while still delivering superior cleaning for your hair.

The Invati Thickening Conditioner “restores strength and improves hair elasticity, reducing breakage.”  Elasticity for hair is very important.  How much your hair will stretch and then return to its normal state, is a measure of its elasticity.  If your hair has normal elasticity it makes it much easier to style with wet-rollers, curling irons and other thermal styling tools.  If your hair has low elasticity, it might prove hard to curl or it could lose the curl very quickly and will not take chemicals such as strengtheners, perms or colors very well.
